Niche property insurance provider Modus today announced the appointment of non-executive chairman, Simon Cooter, subject to FCA approval.
Simon is an established C-suite leader with extensive executive and non-executive board experience. He has a proven track record guiding large enterprises to growth, and in his most recent executive position as Commercial Lines & HNW Director at Covéa Insurance, he was instrumental in trebling the size of the business unit.
Established in 2015, digital-first MGA Modus was acquired by OneAdvent in 2020. Now, Simon will bring his knowledge of the broker distribution channel and e-trading systems to bear, as these two businesses continue to work together to develop an innovative suite of specialist products for the non-standard property insurance sector.
